There's nothing that cleanses your soul like getting the hell kicked out of you.

Yeah, that's how I feel. Nothing much to report on this end, but Christin is taking this class on eating healthy and part of what she learned was a new cleanse or detox diet or whatever you want to call it. I've decided to do it with her for moral support, and we just started on Friday. It's supposed to last 14 days, and now 3 days into it all I think about is food. Good food. Real food. But I can't get myself sidetracked cause I'm writing this to get my mind off of food.

Other than that, work has started back up - it's officially tax season again! Last Thursday everyone was back in the office and we had a few clients. I'll miss my beach time during the next couple months, but it'll be nice to have some money again. Also, I just realized that I'll have no tan by the time I get back to Utah in April, what with hanging out behind a desk all day. Will anyone believe I've been living in Hawaii?!

It's been interesting having Potato around. He's been doing well at Christin's spa and he's making some money, which is nice cause some of that money trickles down to us. After having 4 people in this little house of ours it'll feel really big after everyone moves out. Strange to think about. Chris and Steve and Potato will all be gone in 3 months - not a long time.

Here are a couple of pictures just because this text post is boring. The first pic is of a hike I went on with a friend from the branch. It's overlooking Wailuku and Kahului, the main city of Maui.

This next picture was taken near Makena Landing, one of our favorite spots to snorkel and hang out.

So that's been life lately. Same old. Not that I'm complaining - the same old is pretty awesome.

So they're all bailing in a few months, eh? And you're holding down the fort at that place? Maybe I should buy a plane ticket for this summer...

I just thought you should know, since you're doing that cleanse and all, that I just had the most delicious hot pastrami sandwich on a fresh bacci roll. I think I'm in love with these bacci rolls-- salami and pastrami are perfect on them. Yeah they're ok on regular bread... but these rolls, holy cow. And then the deliciousness of the left over spicy grilled pork I had earlier this evening. I've been in hog heaven...

Enjoy your cleanse :D

8 days ain't too shabby man! I don't know that'd i'd last that long. Shawn and I are actually taking a different approach, and we're taking supplements and lifting weights, good times!

I can't wait for the arches trip man, it's been far too long since we were able to hang out the heffinator!!

That's kinda a bummer you're being bailed on, but if you can make staying out there work, then why not, i mean hawaii, where else would you wanna be!?!?

p.s. shawn and i also hot tub a ton! he's my new hot tub junky buddy, since you booked it to far greener pastures, haha. Mike joins from time to time too, but not regularly.
