Moisture is the essence of wetness

Yesterday was a perfect snorkel day. We headed out to what's sometimes called "the aquarium" and hung out there for a couple hours. The sun was shining, the water was clear, and steve just bought a dry bag especially made for his camera. So we took a few pictures, and after a little photoshopping the pitures look great. Now I need to get one for my camera. Its funny, there aren't many pictures of all the fish. All is vanity, eh?

Snow in Maui

Well, this week was almost a full work week. The tax season will be in full swing next week, which I have mixed feelings about. on the one hand, it's nice to be making some decent money again. on the other, it's hard to give up my free time.

It's been uncommonly rainy and cold this past week. Tuesday morning I woke up to go paddling and saw the snow atop Haleakala. It was so funny to drive along the highway and see all the cars stopped on the shoulder and cameras hanging out the windows - it was big news for a day or two. In some ways it was a lot like the torrential rain we had not long ago. Everyone started conversations the same way for a couple of days - "Did you see the snow!?" In Makawao where I work it's pretty much been raining nonstop, so I guess if I gotta work it might as well rain. Next Wednesday I'll have off work (the last day off for a couple months), so the weather better clear up by then. I haven't been to the beach in forever.

So yeah, this post is to complain that it's raining and getting down to about 65 degrees at night. Don't you feel sorry for me?

Other than that there's not much news to report. No news is good news, right?
