adorned, that's a weird word, isn't it?

A Chinese couple had a son about 6 years old. The son was very knowledgeable about the afterlife. Bandits required the life of the boy in exchange for something. So at a predetermined time, the uncle brought the boy and met the bandits in a field near a high brick wall. Various trees grew around the wall. As a sign of the exchange, the uncle and the bandits exchanged flowers, one white, one yellow. As the uncle rode off, the bandits tied a silk scarf around the boy’s neck and sliced his head off with [a] sword. Two of the trees around where the boy was slain were surrounded by blocks, kind of like legos. Some were adorned with shapes of flowers. The blocks were all sorts of colors, which would change occasionally. The parents kept a painting of the field & the trees & the blocks in their home. The colors of the blocks would change in the painting. [I wish I could draw what the trees surrounded by the blocks looked like. They were pretty cool.]

Jerks, killing the boy with the knowlege of the afterlife. I wanted to talk to him.

Ever play lego star wars? I just started playin it the other day-- so great. Watched Tron a couple days ago and that would make an awesome Lego game. Legos... man they take me back.

I know! I would have thought the bandits would want the boy just for the purpose of getting all his knowledge. go figure.

haha, lego star wars is the coolest idea for a video game. how could you cram more things i love into one neat little package? i think only if Homer Simpson was the main character, and he'd slay enemies by playing mad riffs on a guitar. powerups would be strawberry cheesecake, and there'd maybe be a Hawaii level?

so to answer the question, no i haven't played it. i'd like to, tho.

Haha, it's cool. We'll see if it can hook me since I'm so half-hearted at video games these days.

Man if it weren't for the fact that someone probably already has the rights to make lego games, I'd say we should make that simpsons game and try to sell it. (There's a security guard here at work that's a video game designer, he says he's working on a playable demo of some game to pitch to a game company. Reminds me of how we used to dream about being video game designers, hehe.)
