Nice, a little backpacking trip to gear up a bit for Havasupai?
you know it. it was a rough hike but was well worth it - one of the most beautiful hikes i've ever been on.
dude your pack looks huge. How long was the hike?
it was 15 or 16 miles total. we did around 7.5 miles each day, and yes, the pack was heavy.
where is the west rim?
it starts at lava point in zion and winds down through the park, eventually joining up with the angel's landing trail for the last 2 miles. it sort of parallels the narrows but it's up on a plateau instead of in the river. cool stuff.
